QUAIL AS PETS?



Does anyone else keep domesticated quail
(NOT wild quail)
as companion animals?

I have rescued several live quail from retail butcher shops
in San Francisco,
and I'm keeping them in my home, as companions.


I've learned a lot about their behavior,
tho I haven't yet written about it.


**Does anyone else,
especially in SF or nearby,
keep quail as pets?**
